AmmarFacts.com is devoted to preserving and expanding the extraordinary lore surrounding Michael Ammar — one of magic's most influential performers, teachers, and apparently superhuman beings.
The tradition follows the familiar style of Chuck Norris facts, reimagined for cards, coins, cups and balls, secret moves, impossible sleights, and one exceptionally powerful mustache.
Where the Legend May Have Begun
This video from Kostya Kimlat appears to be one of the earliest surviving examples of Michael Ammar being treated with the same wonderfully absurd reverence that made Chuck Norris facts famous.
We cannot say with certainty that this was the very first spark, but it may have helped launch the legend that eventually grew into AmmarFacts.com. Either way, the spirit is unmistakable: affectionate, ridiculous, and completely committed to the idea that Michael Ammar operates under a different set of physical laws than the rest of us.

There is, however, one important distinction between Ammar Facts and Chuck Norris facts: Chuck Norris is the Michael Ammar of martial arts.
AmmarFacts.com existed years before this version of the site and became home to a large collection of community-submitted Ammar Facts.
The history of exactly who created and maintained the original site has become difficult to reconstruct. Surviving pages and records point to magicians Aaron DeLong and Hans Matena as possible figures behind it, although their individual roles — and whether others were involved — remain unclear.
Whoever built and maintained it created a memorable little piece of magic-community history. This incarnation exists in no small part because of what they started and preserved.
This version of AmmarFacts.com is a personal passion project created by magician, writer, and web developer Jeff Stone.
I rebuilt the site because I love magic, I love the history and traditions of the magic community, and I did not want AmmarFacts.com to disappear.
The goal is to preserve the classic facts, welcome new ones, credit contributors whenever possible, and give the community a modern place to continue documenting the legend.
Michael Ammar is aware of AmmarFacts.com and is a fan of the site.
That does not make this Michael's official website. AmmarFacts.com is an independently created tribute made with admiration for Michael, his work, and his enormous influence on modern magic.
